I delivered 21 packages in a little over 5 hours at $46 an hour. This is how I pictured the job when I applied for it 26 years ago.

It just about always comes down to the competency of the local management.


Not anymore and that seems to be the big problem. I feel for my center manager because he has zero control over his centers operation. Which I find to be rather comical since he is a center manager.

They are no longer "managers", instead, they are "YES MEN", first thing to qualify for the job is to be castrated. Second thing is do whatever they are told and refuse to go against a bad plan, the third thing is to violate the contract in order to avoid failing the "PLAN".

This is why they promote the "least" qualified for the job.

I showed up to work on 12/24 and was sent home. Looks like they owe me 8 hours of overtime!! They didn't like the grievance filed today!
