Yet there are people blaming the Teamsters for Yellow’s demise. Pull up a recent Yahoo news article on Yellow and scroll through the comments. It’s insane how many working class people are anti-union.
I get a lot of heat going back and forth with those a-holes running their mouth and got not one clue on what they’re talking about…..

It’s always “unions fault”

Take a couple of trucks and turn them into Pension $. What about their pension?
They should all be able to keep the tractors they drive along with a trailer. For how much they sacrificed to try and save a sinking ship, they earned it. Then they could become owner operators or sell it off for their own “golden parachute” like much of the Yellow executives will get.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

To be fair, the Yahoo comments is an utter cesspit that makes the discourse on this here forum seem scholarly and sophisticated.

I'm anti-union politics, but pro-union where it matters. The union has spent billions politically aligning with one party over the other, so naturally they have lots of enemies.

Yellow declared bankruptcy.
A Kansas bank failed last week.
CVS announces 5,000 job cuts.
Yet stock market is at all time highs.

Something’s not right.

Stock market manipulation is 24 hours. The economy is different. It is also being manipulated too by money supply/interest rates but at a macro level. Are we in a recession yet?

One week from today, you will find out how UPS did for the last quarter. We will drink either way; to celebrate or to drown out sorrow. lol
2 1/4s of decreased revenue and one 1/4 of net income decline already. Even if UPS manages to ink out profit this 1/4 we all know how they got there. Volume is off.
