I think most, if not all vaccines require a properly functioning immune system and immune response to be fully effective. It was likely still Powell's best shot at mitigating the effects of the virus.

I'm listening to Doctor Wallensky head of the CDC. Her answers are very evasivie and very misleading. If vaccination is the answer then her answers should be more honest and forth coming. People have seen this dog and pony show enough now to know the administration is not being truthful and they therefore are less likely to believe the messaging.
