Jose Maria Odriozola New President Of Operations For UPS Latin America

Odriozola’s strong reputation and experience will help company accelerate growth in the region

UPS (NYSE:UPS), a global leader in logistics, has named Jose Maria (Chema) Odriozola as president of operations for UPS Latin America. Under this role, he will be responsible for all UPS business units and operations in the region. He most recently served as the company’s country manager for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden since 2015. Previously, Odriozola was UPS Switzerland’s country manager during 2014.

UPS Named One Of America’s Best Employers

UPS (NYSE:UPS) was named to the Forbes “Best Employers” list for the third consecutive year. The magazine enlists a third-party survey team from Statista, a research and statistics firm, to query 30,000 respondents from U.S.-based companies with more than 1,000 employees across 25 industry sectors. The survey asks 35 questions with the greatest weight given to the question, “How likely is it that you would recommend your employer to a friend or family member?”

UPS CEO talks tax reform, trade, and Obamacare – Yahoo

United Parcel Service (UPS) CEO David Abney said he hopes that increased healthcare for more Americans under Obamacare stays.

Abney told Yahoo Finance he is encouraged by current White House proposals to cut taxes and modernize trade.

“It’s still early, we have to see the details. But we’re more encouraged than we have been in a long time about the possibility of tax reform,” Abney said.
