Bailout for Madoff investors?

Should the US taxpayer bailout Madoff investors?

I say NO! Doesn't every investor know that "your investment involves risk, up to and including loss of principal"?

Or do you think taxpayers should bail them out, because the government did not do its job policing Madoff?

Investors are advised to read the prospectus before investing as your investment involves risk up to and including loss of principle.

Since:
1)Investors had no real signs of a scam.
2)The SEC blew it.
3)the losses arn't from declining investments

How about giving all Madoff investors 80-90% of the money they put in using the interest received off TARP.

Did the state misrepresent what you were paying for? I am sure if that was the case, you may be entitled to at least $50.
