Alright thanks for the help upstate
But when I hit LA RES it says no packages selected how do I select the package then?
This answer assumes that you are making an attempt at each apartment, scanning each pkg, sheeting as NI, scanning an info notice and completing stop. Resheet the send agains and prerecord each stop. Hit prerecord, dup res each pkg, signature, clarify, complete stop, left at location.
If no attempt is made at each apartment you would prerecord all of the pkgs. Hit prerecord again, hit LA RES for the first one and DUP RES for the rest, signature, clarify, stop complete, left at location.
Me too! I don't know where Upstate learned this method, but it's redundant. We debated this a while back in another thread. I still see no reason to do the NI and then resheet. The method should be the same for both. But that's just me.
At all other apt complexes I attempt at each apt and sheet as NI before taking to the office.

I don't believe a delivery notice needs to be scanned when the package will be indirected. The board doesn't ask for it.

Why sheet as NI1? Just scan the pkg, scan the delivery notice and pre-record. When you get to the leasing/mgmt office go back into pre-record and hit left at for all the stops and then stop complete. Sheeting as not in is not required and just confuses the customer when they track the pkg online. Thanks Steve just working like I am told. The building has a phone in the lobby the rest of the building is behind a locked door you call the apt # on a phone if they are home then you get buzzed up if they are not there then the package gets left in the mailroom beside the office where the customer picks it up with their mail. Just doing like I have been told. But thanks for the heads up.

My supe asked that I leave one to CYA. When the customer goes to UPS.com they will see that the pkg was left at, and where.I don't believe a delivery notice needs to be scanned when the package will be indirected. The board doesn't ask for it.
But doesn't always do.If you know you can eventually leave packages at an office, I wouldn't bother with sheeting the no-answers NI1.
Deliver what you can deliver, and then sheet the others as LA/RES...location = Leasing office (or whatever).
Like Upstate says, work smarter, not harder...
+1I agree, no reason to stop complete and resheet. Use left at resi for each stop. then sig.
A DEA line is when the Feds make a drug bust and line them up in a row.Upstateny, what exactly is a "dealine"?
NYC used to have ED, but I think they shipped him to Plattsburgh.I am not sure but I think that I heard somewhere that NYC doesn't have EDD but I could be mistaken on that.
