    Dear fellow ups,er.
    I love our operations
    I love our airplanes
I know we only have the best drivers in the business.

Our drivers are what is making ups Great! Still I hope we can agree that operations is costing us money. We need sales to drive new business and bring money in. Our possibilities are endless when the best drivers in the business hand in one lead every two months. When can we start picking up that new volume?

Perhaps we shouldn't have been so quick to dismiss RPS/Ground as a competitor.

Maybe the sales reps could help in the understaffed hubs with some of their plentiful free time.

They've been pushing the Sales Leads in the PCM last few weeks.

Number one-I couldn't sell water in the desert
Number two-If I wanted to be a salesman in life, I'd go sell Mercedes-Benz vehicles
Number three-On top of the other things we have to do on-road, there is just no time

  13. Don't worry, neither can the sales people.
Winner. If you told my on-car you were over because you were trying to get as many sales leads as you could, I'm pretty sure he'd have an aneurysm.

  14. C'mon, you're a smart guy. You don't really believe that's what they spend all their time on.

If spending 5 minutes on a sales leads puts him over he needs to kick it up a notch.

At last count I have submitted 96 sales leads and average an hour under each day.

Says the guy who averages 30 minutes guarantee pay per week.

I've received guarantee pay one time in my entire driving career

  17. He'd rather bonus, than get more volume in a truck that is already blown out every single day.
What a guy. I stopped submitting them after being told they were bad leads, only to find out several of them switched to us shortly after they were deemed to be bad.

  20. Why would I do that? They obviously lack integrity by doing what they did. You think they're going to turn around and say "Oh sorry about that!"

Once is an accident, multiple times is intentional.
