How many years have you worked at UPS?

It's not easy work.

In my almost 30 years with the company, I have seen 1 driver make it to 60 when they retired.

Right now, UPS puts in over $17000 a year per driver into the pension fund.

That should fund a fairly nice pension WITH OUT GOING BROKE.

No one is asking for a hand out or anything they didn't deserve, so a little more respect before you make a fool out of yourself with a post like that.
must be nice to have a pension that the company puts money in for us. 99.999999% of America don't have that no more. They also don't have profit sharing, esop's, etc. What they have is 401k's where you put your own money in (on a hell of a lot less wages) and hope that your company actually matches % for %, which a lot have moved to .5% for %. But hey, its the workers fault, not the money hungry ceos, board, and wall street trying to increase their salary's benefits and company profits to make wall street happy, right?

Is there a question in there?

I'm asking my brothers and sisters to help me vote this -do-nothing J.H- out of office!!

Let's see.... if they can get enough Delegate votes.

Then, you can beg other members for theirs.

Ha !

What was the voting % in (every) election ?

Let alone.... "your" Local ?

Help me out.

BUG, this is just the delegate election.

The real deal is coming this fall, when we take back our union.

Apparently over your screaming and kicking.

Really, how can you back this loser?

How many more teamsters have to lose their pensions because of H?

Yawn....

Oh, you mean "flip flop" FZ ??

I don't back anyone.... that took money from the IBT (chairing a committee) and reneges.

-Bug-
Oh you're a saint all right.

Keep backing H.

Right up until the last TEAMSTER pension fund collapses.

You are a great Old Guard TEAMSTER.

Too bad for us, you not our great TEAMSTER.

$9.85 x 2080 = $20,488...... No wonder you follow EE.

That's real funny.

If you can read my 2014 wct pension statement, it says 2080.1 hours and $17597.65.

What does yours say LB?

And get back to me if it's different.

LB, let me know if you want to know the reason we are only making $17.5k a year in our pension.

I know why.

Obviously you don't.

Lol, shifting gears? "Making", employer contributions, basic contributions and peer contributions are all different. Please pick one

Have you become an accountant in the last 3 weeks?

Becuase you claimed you weren't an accountant, so you couldn't understand what our local's net worth of -$410,000.00 meant.

But it is 100% clear, by your posts, that you don't have a clue for the breal down of how our $9.85 is invested for our pension.

So let me make it simple.

$8.46 is put into our pension.

$1.39 is extra, and most goes to pay for early retirement (PEER).

Are you getting this?

I tried to make it simple.
