Just a brown cafe fan from sales and yes sales is working hard so not a lot of time to type my things here and I see we have 6980 hours to go for you to enter salesleads.

I think I turned in a sales lead 7 years ago. Nobody responded. We lost the account.

I kept harping on my management team about no one had called the customer. Every time they said someone would call today.

After a week on no contact with anyone at UPS but me, they signed up with FedEx. I couldn't blame them.

Turns out our sales guy was on vacation for 2 weeks and the sales lead was put on his desk and no one was covering for him those 2 weeks.

What a sales dept. Are they even necessary?

Time flies when your having fun but how do you feel about taking a couple of more packages out on your route? We can lower cost if you and I just step it up a little. Why not go to your sup tomorrow morning and ask for those more packages! You will be admired fo your pro active leadership and as most upsers are sweat followers we will get that in all centers in the states! Hurry up, only 291 days till Christmas.

Ps. Don't forget about entering those salesleads. It is your future too. While you deliver we spank the monkey in our offices.

Seven years ago I worked around 42 hours per week.
Now I average about 50 hours per week.
How is that possible if drivers are not turning in sales leads?

BTW, a lot more furniture now than 7 years ago.

The time spent giving pcms is time YOU could be out generating sales leads!
And, btw, the time spent on BC during business hours is time YOU are not out getting sales leads!

I've been on my route for twenty years. Most of my businesses are already pickups.

The issue the most of us have is how we get dick by the sales guy

I turn it in , the sales guy say no go and next thing you know they are a pickup and the sales guy took credit for it

It only takes one time for me and ups and then you get the finger from that point on
