Great stuff. I've never understood the whole concept of making people suffer with death, disease, famine, war, etc, when we have a benevolent God who could make all of that just go away. After all, He is all-powerful, right? All of the excuses and rationalization don't make any sense at all.

Why didn't God just send a lightning bolt for Hiitler or Stalin? Why do great, wonderful people suffer and die from horrible diseases? And why are babies stillborn, or why do we have people who are severely retarded living low quality lives?

God could stop it all. But He won't. Non-existent.

Thanks for explaining. I find it interesting that personification takes place in many religions.

I've never thought of the idea of GOD as a person.
