I go off of what I am told and that is what he told me.
Just you wait. When those 4 freight terminals get Fred to cave and pay them more than UPS there'll be no stopping the runaway union train....and the damn Teamsters who won't do it for them!

I call BS on the no pickups.
It is when you deliver to some extended areas. Then let's talk about different commitment times unlike Ground's "whenever it gets there" commitment.Don't care. 30 stops is not a full day.
That's because the pay is so crappy.I couldn't imagine the whining I'd get if I sent them out with a full day of deliveries that weren't envelopes.
I really find that hard to believe---even our most rural routes have pickups.
Want me to get his cell number for you so you can ask yourself?I really find that hard to believe---even our most rural routes have pickups.

Are you? You want a third party to assume all the risk and all the cost while you sit back, sign a card, and call it a day. There will be no union at Express as long as people like you maintain that attitude. Fred and the shareholders appreciate your inaction. Are you a complete brick? How do employees organize nationally without a national organization? Grassroots efforts don't work against corporations willing to throw millions at killing a union. This means the IBT.
Really, are you that dumb?
I run approximately 110-130 stops depending on dispatch with no pickups. It all depends on your delivery area. Where I am, a rural area, no one is shipping.I call BS on the no pickups.
It's a shared risk by both union and employees. You cannot have a successful organizing campaign without either. The union provides resources, direction and organizing such a campaign. The employees help garner support from coworkers and must be willing to endure the harassment and intimidation that FedEx would put forth. Do you think Freight would be organizing right now with no support from the Teamsters? Are you?
