I wonder if Foux News will follow up on Trump being cought in a lie, or just bash unions as usual.
They haven't followed up on any of his other lies so I don't see why'd they'd start now. It doesn't matter anyway, just read this thread his supporters don't care if he's a liar. They don't care if he knows anything about effective public policy. They just want to cheer his "winning."

Let it play out and see who is right and who is wrong. What about Hillary getting caught in all the Benghazi lies and E Mail lies. I guess you are ok with that?

1. I didn't vote for Hillary
2. The campaign is over, you can't shift focus off Trump.
3. We all know this was a PR stunt and every economist knows it's not a replicable policy.
4. The President elect is childish for personally attacking citizens that disagree with him.

You can't thru life full of mistrust and anger. How do you know the union head is telling the truth. Maybe he is not being honest. Trump is gonna be president. Get used to it. You might not like it but there is nothing you can do but hope for the best. Or, you can be bitter and angry for the next 4 years.

If Trump is a moderate then he might be able to formulate a somewhat effective foreign and domestic policy. At the same time if the conservative hard liners gain the upper hand within the party rest assured million of Americans will quickly discover that they might not be as conservative as they thought. If that were to occur then the political spotlight will no doubt shine on the extremely wealthy people in his cabinet including the guy he has chosen to be his labor secretary . The people want a president not an emperor or a czar or a king. If Trump conducts himself in a manner that reminds people of one his term will end in 4 years .

At his age, I doubt he would want to be a 2 term guy.

Between the 2 men I'm going to trust the union leader to be actually looking out for the workers. That's literally his job.

No question that the American people want action a several key issues that impact their daily lives. immigration and trade among the more hot button issues. If he generates measurable success in those areas the nation will be more tolerant of his behavior. But he comes across as a totally ineffective self absorbed narcissist he will lose control of his congressional majority in 2018. If he doesn't get the message then we'll have 1974 all over again. The leaders of his party will go to him and give him the choices, quit, risk impeachment or decide not to run in 2020 . And if he does he will lose the nomination.

You do know that "Benghazi" was a failed CIA para military op to recover weapons that went bad.

But back on topic, details are important, and that is the one thing that Trump and company are light on.

Doesn't matter why Benghazi happened. Americans died while leaders neglected their job.

You do know Ambassador Stevens requested countless times for more security and was ignored? You don't know if it was a CIA paramilitary operation because you aren't privy to top secret documents. Unless of course you are one of the people who didn't have clearance that Hillary sent emails to.

And Clinton went to Congress asking for more money to pay for it but at the time sequestration was in place and as a result her budget was cut by 40%. You GOP"s are always hollering for spending cuts and results such as these are what you sometimes get. Note the fact that the GOP"s in Congress didn't push the matter too hard when it got out that her request for funding restoration was denied. In the aftermath of sequestration Clinton told Stevens to keep a low profile but he thought that everybody in that region of the world loved him.

When did Clinton go to Congress about more security? Stevens was ignored.

Obama's budget requested an increase in funding for embassy security. Stevens ignored advice to stay away from Benghazi, and Hillary was not in charge of responding to the crisis. She had no power to redirect any armed forces to Benghazi, and repubs found nothing that she did wrong, other than first assuming that the attack was related to other protests over the film.

You're serious? Emails from her server showed that she told Chelsea and the Egyptian ambassador that Benghazi was a terrorist attack. The Obama administration, including Hillary, which was heading into fall election in 2008, put out the story that it was a spontaneous riot due to outrage over that video. Everyone connected to the attack who testified before Congress stated they knew nothing about that video. It was a well organized attack with missile launchers by Al-Qaeda. But Obama didn't want that to get out right before the election because he had been saying everything was under control. And the Assistant Secretary of State, Charles Lamb, testified before Congress that the lack of sufficient security wasn't due to a budget shortfall. Amazing what is said under oath. And yes, the Republicans found plenty wrong with her actions, which made her blow up and say "At this point what difference does it make?"

Cover for her all you want, but the fact remains that she and Bill are worth well over $100,000,000 from just giving speeches, as well as hundreds of millions donated to their foundation, which pays for their traveling and some of her emails even say they used foundation money to pay for Chelsea's wedding, a big no-no. And after receiving a subpoena to turn over all emails she had her server acid washed, obliterating 33,000 emails. Can only imagine what was in there. And if she was a Republican I'd still call her a crook for all you talking partisanship.

Unfortunately, much of that isn't real.

Sorry.

Parts of that are real, so...

We're post-truth now; ymmv.

But, don't get too upset about things that may or may not be real...right?
