You consistently invest in low cost index funds and stick to your strategy despite what the market does.

I don't think the guy is jesus and find all the asset allocation obsessing a little silly. I personally think people should put as much in equities as they can tolerate. That's 100% for me, and I'll probably keep it that way in retirement too.
