$75 million?????

I'm on vacation this week, but I ran into one of the guys from my preload tonight, and I asked him if all the crazy 1Q cost cutting is happening here tomorrow, and it is.

He heard UPS is desperately trying to make up $75 million!!!!!

Get those resumes together kids.

So making Q4 look good backfired on them. So the cycle continues.

I know not every center did this, but the majority of centers put more routes in and cut OT for drivers.

Well, they just realized how much money this actually costs them.

Cheaper to pay the OT.

If this is seriously close to reality then I just shake my freaking head. I was told this was a tech company that happens to deliver packages! They can't model scenarios like this and see the obvious short-term financial benefits of paying overtime vs. many more cars per center? I almost can't believe that this is could be true.
