No, I understood your reference the first time.
What you fail to understand is the upper mgt at UPS is made up of failed drivers, the ones who always did the least work. No way, are they going to want to spend their entire careers always training newbies. What are the costs associated with just getting a newbie in for their first shift, say a grand, now combine that with a high turn over rate and soon many centers would be operating at a lost within the company structure. Losing center's mgt teams do not advance upward with such poor records, most are shown the door themselves.
The driver turnover rate at Fedex Ground is second to none. It's often said that at Ground there are 3 drivers on every truck ,one coming, one driving and one leaving. Nevertheless, that cheap labor, high turnover operation keeps right on going chewing off big chinks of market share from competitors.

It will be fine

“It’s often said” lol. Just like Trump, “many people are saying...bunch of BS no one actually says.”

My 96 year old neighbor fell two months ago. Now she is in assisted living. When you visit her, she says, “can you believe all the old people here?”

What's wrong? You don't want people to know the reality of the situation? Despite horrendous turnover a fact you admitted to in the past XG and it's cheap labor force still cobbles up market share. So what does it mean? It means that contrary to the long standing claim by some UPS box luggers the job isn't all that complicated....Pick it up here, haul it over there, put it down someplace agreeable. And it would appear that in most labor markets there are still enough people willing and capable of performing the task for the far lower wage scale dictated by an open labor market. Will that supply dry up? Eventually and in some markets it would appear to be already happening but overall it won't be for quite awhile.

She's gonna look like Darth Vader with his helmet off if she's still alive in 2021. I could not imagine being 85 years old, having just received cancer treatment and still feeling obligated to stay on the job rather than spend time with family in my final days.
It was mild lung cancer, only two spots. A few months ago she didn't have it, so they got those small aggressive tumors early.
