Bernie Sanders and the establishment DNC

Left of center does not mean center-left, fren. It means Bernie is firmly on the left, unlike most of the Democratic Party.

Yang and Gabbard both campaigned further left policies for drug legalization than Bernie did.

Beto wants to take your AR. Bernie doesn’t.

Bernie’s immigration policy goes further than I’m even comfortable with and yet there are far-left goofballs out there criticizing his willingness to continue to deport violent criminals.

M4A has been called the “compromise position” because it only involves government takeover of health insurance, rather than the entire healthcare system like the U.K.

It is possible to get further left than Bernie, especially if we’re to factor in other western democracies...it’s probably not a place I’d like to go to though.

As for your question about the Senate, congrats you got me.
Go to into the election booth.
Vote for capitalism or communism.
BSanders is a communist.
It's not that complicated.

Arguably, AOC in the House but no one in the Senate.
One could argue Mazie but she is mostly just ignorant and stupid ... not a good combination.
AOC, you mean the crazy bitch he is campaigning with and backing her green new deal?

Bernie is AOC with slightly more common sense on what he is allowed to say.

Let me preface this by saying I'm an independent and did not vote for either Trump or Clinton in the previous election. With that said....

Can any Democrats on this site please explain to me why the establishment Democratic party along with its allies at CNN, MSNBC, NBC and ABC are trying so hard to destroy the campaign of the one candidate who, at this moment, poses the greatest challenge for Trump to defeat?

Bernie Sanders has amassed a huge movement of middle-class workers, socialist-indoctrinated Gen Z'ers and millennials, African-Americans, Latinos and women who have rallied behind his message. Meanwhile, the DNC is a fractured party that has had no real leadership since Obama left office and has spent the last 4 years on a boondoggled Russia investigation and a useless impeachment that did nothing but make Trump's public approval ratings the highest after this acquittal.

They have thrown their support behind old white multi-millionaire status-quo politicians who spend more time catering to transgender bathroom rights and padding their stock portfolio than the plight of the American worker. Their lead candidate doesn't even know what state he's campaigning in half the time while Speaker Pelosi looks like she's slowly losing control of her mental faculties.

Democratic "leadership" right now consists of tearing up State of the Union speeches, wasting taxpayer dollars on a pointless impeachment and conducting debates that have the biggest lineup of non-candidates in American history.

The entire identity of the party right now is that of destroying Trump yet they try to derail the one candidate who could give them a fighting chance. And don't even get me started on Tulsi Gabbard. I guess she made too much sense for the mainstream Democrats to support...
democrats are the party of money, and the moneyed faction does not want bernie to win because its gonna be a major shake up within. the rich dont want bernie to win. so what ive heard is the news preferred candidate will be trump, and they will be doing propaganda for donald against bernie.

You guys called Obama a communist too when he was just an empty suit corporate neo-lib

A legitimately left of center candidate comes along and now it’s total pearl clutching snowflake meltdown lol

I never called Obama any such thing. It's the people who still think socialism can work who don't understand socialism, and don't understand its connection to communism. Communism would have worked, if only they had purged a few million more dissidents.

Socialism is the government owning the means of production.
Obama believed in Socialism like Rockefeller believed in ownership ... don't own anything but control everything.
Obama's regulations strangled the American economy.
Bernie wants to own major components of the economy.

It will be fine

What amount is socialism doesn’t work? Every developed nation has some amount of socialist policies. Where’s the magic line?

All of which would be considered welfare states that are subsidized by market economies, and not socialist. But I guess we would have to break down each "socialist" policy, weigh its cost to benefits, and try to compare it to a system that would be considered free market, to see if those socialist policies are actually working, or if they just haven't imploded yet.

But to take a big picture approach, we can look at how much debt each welfare state has, and how much of that debt is attributable to the socialist policies, and how long each nation can sustain that debt before going completely insolvent. I am particularly interested in that subject, because it seems like the level of debt must have some breaking point, but we just keep doing business as usual, regardless of who's in office.

Capitalist countries with some social programs are a bit different than a socialist economy with highly regulated industry and redistribution of wealth.

We all saw what happened when Trump loosened the noose.
Lowest unemployment ever, stock Market booming ... could have happened under Obama
if he was not so anti-capitalist (Quasi-Socialist) and over-regulating.
Regulations is a form of Socialism ... think about it.

I guarantee you, we will all feel the BURN if the Bern or the likes of the Bern ( every dim candidate ) gets close to the WH.
The debates are useless. There is no debate.

I love that Politico's newsletter for military-industrial complex lobbyists this morning warns that out of all the candidates running, @BernieSanders represents an "unprecedented threat to the status quo" Bipartisan rebuke over border funding grab
Interestingly Bernie leads all candidates, including Trump, in donations from the active-duty military.
