Boots for integrad?

I am curious how strict they actually are at intergrad for shoes. I have merrell brown suede shoes right now and have gotten crap in the past for them not having "ankle protection" whatever that means. Ankle high boots suck.

What are the options integrad will accept for boots?

I wear these, Danner mountain light ll’s. Brown leather(polishable) and Gore-Tex will keep your feet completely dry.
