You know what's even better the groomsmen partied the Night before til about 3am. Then we had a 7am tee time to make. We got up went and partied it up that night too.

I've got a few UPSers coming out from the old center. They all asked for sick notes for Monday

We partied until 3-4 am the night of our wedding.

Wimps.

We partied and then went to our new apartment and 'consummated.' Then, we stopped by my parents' house to pick some stuff up and ended up putting my drunken brother to bed. Then, we went out to grab a late dinner, went home and 'consummated' again and got up early to drive off for our honeymoon.

Dave is/was just wimpy.

I crammed the cake in my wife's face. I've been to probably 30 weddings in the 10 years since. Haven't seen one other person do it. It's not something many people do anymore.

Yeah it's way cheaper. And you're right I've seen lots of cupcakes and even cookies at weddings recently.

We're only about 35 minutes away, but it was something we thought would be nice. Plus this way we don't have to worry about getting home legally

It was and is funny. We both had a great sense of humor about it.
