The best calamari I ever had was in South Carolina it was awesome they cut it longways in strips had an excellent sauce it was fantastic

Most calamari around here is really tiny pieces that have too much. Breading on them.
We have a local seafood shop that sells good big pieces though and the father in law lightly breads and fries them.
