ok, Texas is 25 daily 10" minimum. Talking about a new boat, I have always been an OMC guy. But a lot of commercial fishermen (crabbers, shrimpers) use the big yamahas. The guide we used last week had a 250 honda and it was real smooth and quiet. I currently have an evinrude on my boat.

Nice. I have a Johnson now. The guy that worked on it before, felt the need to mess with the carb on it. It's all jacked and I'm not about to mess with it. So I guess I'll take it to a different dude and let him do his thing. I need it running smooth. Tournament time is here. Can't be fighting a boat from the get go

3 blade prop. Not exactly sure the pitch. It comes out of the hole fast, just wish I had a little more on the top end. On a good day I can hit 55-56. Usual day is 52-53.

I had a merc on a tri-hull I owned way back when. That thing was constantly breaking down on me, and every part for it was like double what it should have been. I ended up giving it away just to get it out of my hair.

I've got a 4 blade stainless prop on my evinrude. I have a tunnel hull, and it helps my hole shot to get up on a plane quickly.

I need to have my prop worked. Got little nicks and things in the blades. I just don't wanna do it right now. It's fast enough. Just would be nice to save a minute or two running the river and making long runs.

I would like a four stroke. The only merc I ever liked was on my buddy's war eagle. Thing was quiet, had the ass behind it, ran like a top.
