Mine was under $700 installed. I think it is a 50 gallon.
50 would be kind of big for a condo. I would have guessed a 40 gallon.

I heard that before as well. We are on propane heat. The first winter we had it installed, we used one less delivery than the winter before and have held true to that. Old water heater was a 75 gallon monster.I'd heard financially the tankless heater payoff was debatable.
When me and my wife first got married and were looking for our first house,I remember looking at one that was heated by a huge oil tank in the basement. I was like that's it. We're leaving. lol.I heard that before as well. We are on propane heat. The first winter we had it installed, we used one less delivery than the winter before and have held true to that. I know this will shock you but I built a pool house, put in a 42x22 pool and added a deck without a permit. You don't need a permit to swap out an existing water heater.
That's probably cause you live on the side of a mountain ya hippy!I know this will shock you but I built a pool house, put in a 42x22 pool and added a deck without a permit.
My last house I finished in the basement including a laundry room, a large music room without a permit.

Not to nitpick but if anyone here was in the service and is still here then they did not sacrifice anything.
