Stains fairly easy. Has to be sealed every so often not food safe. Can see the seems

The more and more I look into granite its a nope.

The fake granite is a lot better. Sealed so doesn't stain and looks similar.

I have a big piece of granite that was salvaged from an old library being remodeled I use as a dresser top and it stains way too easily.

Oops. My bad. Its marble, not granite but is similar.
