Good timing. I drove through the Poke Oh Noes today, and the trees are turning nicely.

Only a few trees have been losing leaves but they just turned brown and fell off. It doesn't look like it will be a good year for color.

I haven't seen my ponds as low as they are in years. Kind of hope it stays that way for awhile though. Loggers are flat getting stuff knocked out right now and I can trim some willows that are normally in the water around the ponds.

I'm probably moving the dam back a hundred feet or so in the next few years if I do I'll make sure to nip them while they are young.
