These are for fence posts. Each one saves me $5-10 not having to buy.
I don't think he's crazy about the logging but at the same time understands it kind of needed to be done

The are not attractive but the wood is really durable and has some great uses

That depends on the tree. Most of them just one. But some of the bigger trees you might get 3

When I was young they used to have a huge mill(?) in Greensboro, NC that dealt with cedar. I used to love riding by that place and the smell of the cedar. It used to be very popular for houses to have cedar closets and women to have cedar chests. I think it helped keep moths away.

Water dept is working on the water main in front of my house. It started a slow leak next to the street about a month ago and they are finally getting around to fixing it.
They thought it was where it split off to my house despite both my neighbor and I trying to tell them it was down the street a ways.
So after they dug up next to my driveway they finally started digging where we told them. Guess where all the water was?
Since its on their side its their problem but a mess out there. They said they would still finish today but I see a lot more standing around than working.
