I think we are about to have a party here at the house. Since I worked nights my entire career, we always celebrated birthdays at the crack of dawn, since everyone was here at that time. Wife gets ready for work and I usually got ready for bed.

I did burn a batch of chocolate chip, unfortunately. I learned you can't cook 2 batches at the same time. The one on the bottom near the heating element will get crispy on the bottom.

Lol. That’s always a hit. I’ve found that the ingredients are cheapest from Aldi’s.

We started to make those shortbread balls covered in powdered sugar, What did you call them? Mexican tea? We called them something else, but can't remember. We decided 10 different cookies was enough.

the recipe calls for 1 lb of salted peanuts and 1 lb of unsalted. I couldn't find unsalted so, I used 2 lbs of lightly salted. I figured since it was going to be mixed all together, it would all come out in the wash.
