Since South Atlanta moved into Douglas County, crime has gone through the roof, with gangs and crap.
Luckily my driveway is long and curvy so we have not had a problem with crime but we had to get a PO Box because our mail kept getting stolen which is where the trash can would have to be for pickup.
Trash service out here is private business owners.
The trash from South Atlanta will steal anything.

We have gangs too. Church groups cleaning leaves of seniors yards. All those cars really mess up driving down the street!

Where I live is close to but outside the city. There is a buffer zone of empty farm fields in between which are disappearing.. Neighborhood is still nice but the rot is spreading this way.

Where I am used to be government workers, contractors and blue collar people. A lot are still here but more and more are moving further out.

When I go to vote today I have to go to a polling place closer to the city (it was changed a couple of years ago) and half the people there seem like inner city that got bused out. All the poll workers certainly do. A lot different than it used to be.

lol. I didn't mean they literally bus them out. Just that it seems that way. For certain none live very close (its still outside the city).

As to why the polling place is there? My guess is there was money involved somewhere.

Really. Trying to get to a restaurant and gangs of youth walking all over with bags of leaves! Really slows you down.

The city wants people to rake their leaves to the curb and they come around in vacuum trucks to suck them up.

Since I don't live in the city and have to pay a private company for trash pickup I'm supposed to put them in the special recycling bags.

Screw that. If I bag any they go in in regular plastic bags inside my big trash container.

Ever notice how much longer people take to vote in the ghetto? Its always long lines even if they have the same number people voting as other places.

Its almost as if half of them can barely read. Not as if it matters. They just push every candidate with a (D).
