Was waiting for $5.06 in change the other day. The kid hands me a five dollar bill and starts to count out 6 pennies. Then there was a short pause and he says "I guess I could have given you a nickel". Duh--no . Says volumes for our educational system.

I was at the grocery store once and my bill was $10.10 and I gave the girl a 20 dollar bill and a dime. She gave me $9.89 change. I just looked at her and laughed and left......you can’t fix stupid

Probably because they use calculators.

So if you see them upside down at first does that make you more/less intelligent. These optical illusions seem to always foreshadow something?

Some of the big box stores have cash registers that actually show a picture of the coins and bills that are needed to make change. Talk about the dumbing down of America.

I was confused and thought I was missing something because they were all right side up from the beginning.
