There are a bunch of mailboxes on my route that have a built in newspaper box underneath. The only activity in those boxes now is coming from the bluebirds and barn swallows using them as nests.

With no numbers on the houses? Not nearly as bad as it used to be with 911 requirements.

I have only seen that in apartment complexes. Not housing subdivisions.

It’s a narrow county road and the entrance is on top
Of a hill. Not a great set up.

Yes and no. They have lockers in these things. Look just like this but sometimes larger.

I meant the set up I took a picture of.


At a local lake by me they are putting it a 500 lot subdivision (it’ll be 50 years before it’s full) but they are doing a similar set up to what you posted.

The subdivision has more lots and more miles of road than my whole Town.
