I got a bill from my new doctor yesterday, after FedEx paid most of it. I noticed they charged $50 extra for an evening appointment. WTF?! I’m not paying THAT. Gonna call them today and tell them. No one ever mentioned that to me when I scheduled my appointment as a new patient.

Her hospital is looking to become the only local trauma center. I’m sure they’ve got plans to spend it.
Personally I think it was to butter them up.
The only other birthing center within 45 min is closing at the end of this month. So they are about to be swamped.

There’s 4-5 hospitals just none of them do labor and delivery. The last one that close 85% or their deliveries were Medicaid. Medicaid cut how much they paid per delivery so they had to close down.
