Looks like more workplace violence. I saw in the news there were a couple of sketchy reports of a shooting outside a UPS building in Columbus. A woman is in the hospital in critical condition and the cops chased a suspect several miles before they caught him. Very few details but it happened at 4 am. The wouldn't be anyone else in the area at that time other than employees or someone driving by.

They said life threatening injuries. Gunshot wound to the head. They didn't say much about who shot her but it was a man and the cops had to use SWAT and stop sticks. They didn't say he was shot too but he is also in the hospital. Roads in that area are closed for investigation - probably because police shot him. It is several miles from the UPS building so won't affect traffic there.

Now they are saying the suspect shot himself and has life threatening injuries.

The flu vaccine this year is only supposed to be 48% effective. Hardly seems worth it to me.

To them a good year is when its 50-60%. Unless you are in a high risk group just skip it in my opinion.

The saga isn't over. In the end though it is the responsibility of management to ensure that something like that doesn't happen. Some people may not buy into that argument, but I do. And I wanted that message to be sent.

Sounds to me like a member of management needs to be at the air door on a nightly basis.
