Man, I love YouTube! I bought a new washer and dryer about a month ago. For some reason, the washer won’t progress past filling with water. I looked it up on YouTube and I think I’ve solved the problem.

That’s what I wanted! I thought I was buying a simple one. No bells, whistles or music. Lol. I think I didn’t fix the problem. Trying again.

The video said to run diagnostics on the washer. I managed to get it to spin after that, but I’m trying to get it to start from the beginning and fill up, wash, then drain and spin.

I unplugged it for a minute then opened and closed the lid six times quickly. Still isn’t working right. Right now I’m just trying to get it to spin again so I can wash the clothes at a laundry mat.

Those lid locks can mess things up. There usually is another reset involving holding buttons in certain sequence.

I would return the thing.
