The kids aren't allowed to wear certain things to school for fear of gang stuff. We have a large Central American presence here.

There are beginning to be a lot here now. Probably as many Central Americans as Mexicans but I doubt it its more than 5-10% total. Gangs aren't a big problem and what there is mostly prey on other Hispanics.

You guys living in small towns are lucky. 5:00 news here lead with a story of 6 teenagers of the MS-13 gang being arrested for murder of another teenager, whose body was found about 15 minutes from here. It wouldn't surprise me if one or more of the arrested go to my daughter's school. Her school is about 50% Hispanic. Can't wait to leave this area.
