I've gotta buy the Mrs a new car, she's driving around in my brother's old car from high school. And I am absolutely dreading having to make another car payment

I'm going from a regular cab (bench seat) to a double cab (need the back seat for grandkids).

We looked at the Mini Clubman this past weekend and I think that's what we'll end up getting for her. I want her to have a good vehicle and the dealership isn't far from her work. They'll pick it up for maintenance and it's all covered.

After what happened I want her in something safe, and I really like all the safety features in that thing. Beautiful vehicle

I know it is. We almost bought one last year but decided to wait. That car and her are a perfect match and ultimately it's safe. Which I care about even more now.

I like myself just fine. I HAVE had to learn not to care when people don't like me. I like people liking me, but we can't control what other people think or feel.
