I don't know one actual baseball fan that thinks the games are too long.

People that think baseball is boring don't give two s if they're watching 6 hours of it or 6 minutes of it. Changing the game to 7 innings will do nothing but piss off your core fan base.

I’ll ask you. Do you remember when hockey had a two line pass and you had to bring the puck into the neutral zone together? They changed this rule to add more scoring, but Gretzky and Lemieux had no problem victimizing teams when this rule was in effect. I think hockey sucks as a product now, and I’m a big fan.

I’ll ask you. Do you remember when hockey had a two line pass and you had to bring the puck into the neutral zone together? They changed this rule to add more scoring, but Gretzky and Lemieux had no problem victimizing teams when this rule was in effect. I think hockey sucks as a product now, and I’m a big fan.

I forgot about the 2 line pass. When that changed my thought was why not do away with offsides too.

It is an excuse for the fact that baseball is a game of failure and kids can't handle failure now days so they don't really like baseball.

Sort of. I’m not as mad about that as I am this new tick tack face off procedure. And every little thing is a penalty. That’s what infuriated me. I don’t mind scoring, but I also love to see a good goal tender battle and tough defense. Not this call a holding penalty every time somebody touches somebody.

They also played with one ball, til it,left the field of play, and didn’t have to Velcro on body armor twenty times between pitches.

I played 9 innings in college and American legion. An inferior product to MLB by every measure. Games RARELY went over 3 hours.
