There’s a difference between swing “thoughts” and actual swing plane.

Most of these guys aren't rocket scientists. If you have to think about it you are too slow.

Yeah you also have a difference in how people understand stuff. So tell one kid he needs to swing up on plane with the ball and he smokes line drives. Tell another kid and he may start swinging straight up. Lol


I think a fastball is normally coming downhill at a 4-5 degree angle. Ideally you meet that downward angle with the same upward angle on your swing plane.


But it's still pretty funny to me that there are A LOT of big time stars even hall of famers that can't accurately explain how they actually swing.
