s about my toddlers emotions when she bites someone or looks me dead in the eye and does exactly what I just told her not to do.
I always thought that therapists & psychiatrists have their heads (you know where).
I love her statement that “kids need structure. They need rules, and sometimes they just need to be told ‘no’”. I’m a firm believer in that. If they don’t learn those things with love from their parents where do “experts” think they’ll learn them? I’ll tell you....in jail. No thanks. Oh and I yell at my daughter because it gets her attention. Sometimes I just need to startle her enough to get her to stop whatever she’s doing for a couple seconds so I can get to her.
These "experts" can't distinguish between discipline and abuse.
