I do appreciate it. Trying to learn as much as I can here. You're welcome. Just trying to give you an honest answer.
Had a 2 day call in and a 3 day call in in the last 6 months. That’s it. I work hard and always do what they ask of me. I was legitimately sick and it could not be avoided. No other call ins other than the ones I’ve told you about
I was at work about to leave and start my route for the day when I received a call from my wife about a family emergency. I spoke with the center manager and told him what was going on and told him I needed to leave and deal with the situation. He said ok but when I checked my time card it showed “called in”. Is it a call in if I was technically at work and didn’t actually call in?
Cover your ass. Don't give them a reason to discipline you
You have to!!Best advice. Cover your ass.
How so? What should it technically be classified as?
You know, we dont 'target' people. We want everyone to succeed at their job and do it correctly. When they don't it's our job to protect the company. Simple as that.
Job abandonment? We should start a new "call out category" for you. It would be for someone who comes into work but then leaves . We just need a name for it. Any suggestions guys ?
You should be paid time worked if you were already on the clock, you did not call in, you punched in and had to leave for a emergency, stuff happens, family first, they don't care about you, no one does. I was disciplined. They gave me a termination letter. I filed and am awaiting the next hearing
For calling in. 2 occurrences over a 7 month period. First was 3 days second was 2 days.
