How are you guys interpreting this? We have been debating it....

To some of us its a running sentance so ALL the things listed DO NOT count as dishonesty and we CAN NOT be fired for them. So it's to our favor. Other drivers think the exact opposite and think now we can be fired for not following the methods.

Whoever thinks that means they can fire you for "failure to follow methods, procedures, instructions " should be banned from voting because basic reading comprehension is something that is beyond them

I agree with you, but I guarantee you management will read it however they want at least until someone tells them no.

Dishonesty gets you early retirement without benefits but it is not the stuff outlined in paragraph (a).

The plan is to fire people for no scans. They will say you didn’t follow your methods, and it was confirmed with an end of day package report. So it’s not based “solely” since they have cooperating evidence.

Sorry, they already tried that one didn’t work. If they aren’t doing check-in audits and find it on your truck at night, it’s worthless.

If you are on the no scan report often they will focus on you and come after you. all this language saying is that now they can"t accuse you of dishonesty for saying something like I dont recall, but they can still can fire you. follow the meothod and work as directed is your best bet

Scan everything on your truck every day no problem.
