How do you know for sure?
6K a month? You were overpaid when you were working. Now, you are grossly overpaid.
For a Teamster? Yes you are correct.
My pension funds weren't used to finance Las Vegas casinos and other Mafia scams.
I relied on UPS, not the Teamsters, so I reap the benefits.

If it weren’t for the teamsters, your pay, benefits, and pension would be much smaller. And probably your ego....lol

I'm shocked your pension is valued that low, honestly.
I live modestly (based on my means) and I have yet to touch my investments in my 401k or my other investments. I actually make more in dividends annually than my pension so you might have a point.
I've been retired 5 years and my investments are 60% higher than when I retired.
It's important to make outside investments as pensions are becoming a thing of the past ... as well as Soc Sec most likely.

I've read some of your past posts and know you did quite well, the pension is fun money if that. I'm not trying to be insulting towards you at all, if it came across like that.

What? Social security is going to vanish?

Man of Great Wisdom
Mine is looking pretty damn good.
6k a month.

I did not count on it but looking great.
And my health insurance is paid 100% with my 40 years of service.

How is yours looking?
Mine is good actually. I was talking about the newer supes with the new enhanced pension aka 401k. You got a lot of stock when the company grew with no real threat and now the newbies have to fight actual competition and they get squat. You were probably one of the people that said why worry about RPS.
