IE is and always has been the straw that stirs the drink
So much for early March. This isn't going to happen, they are hiring all over in the North East in all groups/functions.
Who knows what’s going to happen maybe nothing but we better change the way we do business.
Let’s see. Implementing Saturday Ground which seems like its driving cost up with no return on investment. Driving higher paid days heading into contract talks and just generally running our show for a few days a year dictated by one large shipper. Doesn’t seem like we have gotten the message yet
Not to mention DHL is now coming to the US again.
DHL never completely left------they still offer limited service, mostly government contracts.
Yes but now they are targeting Residential Air deliveries and ground residential customers to select cities, this is DHL entering the growing B to C Market.
Not to mention FDX partnering with Walmart we need to really do something different
Something different like delivering truck tires and furniture?
I was going to post the same thing . death to IE.
DHL actually has an opportunity to take a substantial amount of Amazon volume from us. Amazon uses the DHL air facility.
IMO they can have it, just a way to watch them slowly die, again.
We are we in negotiations for Amazon to be delivered exclusively by UPS?
Please tell me you are kidding?
Now that's funny! Nice Mr. Jingles...
We have to come up with cost savings to pay union contract and LTIP.
Get rid of management and replace them with technology?
That would be you that would be replaced ... right after your supe.
