We won't get any specific day in return, as long as FedEx is working it, we will, too.


Valid observation.


In the central we get holiday pay plus double time. If they take that away we should get a minimum of 3 additional option days.


I say keep it as a holiday. ($$$)

But, negotiate another major holiday as a reward for the inconvenience of ruining

family time for most members.


I like how you think.... and thats just my thought.

"Finally 9.5. Simplicity would work best here. You opt out of the list not onto it.


This is a good suggestion.

Some people want (or need) the overtime, for various reasons.

A blanket proposal too keep all drivers under 9.5.... limits earning potential.


If you had to opt out, the threat of the 3-day ride wouldn't exist.

Thoughts ?

Yes...
Use all their methods and work (honestly) the same every day and the three day ride is a waste of their time.

I don't like "all drivers" being restricted under 9.5 also. Opting off the 9.5 instead of on may at least reduce the harassment of asking to be relieved of OT. But I do think that it should be an automatic payout reflecting in the following paycheck.

Reduce the amount each month retirees pay for health insurance.
Negotiate for current employees to have zero deductible for health care.
In 2018 I believe it is 200 for the employee, and 400 for family.
It would be great, but retiree payments and employee deductibles are going to go up,up,and up. I wish I was wrong.
