What kind of person who had been escorted off of an aircraft , runs back onboard and tries to hide ?

When a person is placed into a shocking situation such as this individual found himself and he seems all alone to endure it, fear can take hold and cause any individual to act in irrational ways. Condemning a person for what you perceive as acting irrational in a completely irrational situation is not to be taken as an absolute IMO for judging a person. Seems to me you are just looking for an excuse to otherwise justify a preexisting prejudice. You want a reason not to favor this man and now you have one.

Seems the United CEO has now walked back his position on Monday and has now owned the responsibility for what took place. Amazing what shaving $1.5bil off your stock value will do.

Another interesting twist to this whole United Airlines saga.

Chicago Police Statement another weird twist to United Fiasco
Chicago Police Department Office of Communications:
"At approximately 6:00 p.m., A 69-year-old male Asian airline passenger became irate after he was asked to disembark from a flight that was oversold. The passenger in question began yelling to voice his displeasure at which point Aviation Police were summoned. Aviation Officers arrived on scene attempted to carry the individual off of the flight when he fell. His head subsequently struck an armrest causing injuries to his face. The man was taken to Lutheran General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Ongoing investigation."

Reality:
It was just the kind of statement you'd have expected to read from police 10 years ago, back before such altercations were routinely captured on smartphone video and discrepancies between official versions of stories and the accounts of citizen witnesses could be brushed aside as he-said-she-said.

But now we can see for ourselves. No, the man was not yelling prior to being wrestled from his seat. No, his facial injuries were not caused because he "fell." He began yelling after the officers attacked and manhandled him.

I don't get it ... United and the Chicago Airport police really :censored2:ed up and you're trying to tear down the victim.
What the hell is wrong with you?

Devil's advocate - Wikipedia

In common parlance, the term devil's advocate describes someone who, given a certain point of view, takes a position he or she does not necessarily agree with (or simply an alternative position from the accepted norm), for the sake of debate or to explore the thought further.

Sorry, no scorpions up here in here in growing zone 6b.
We have them. Brown scorpions. Makes you sick if they sting. I see more copperheads and rattlesnakes, at least I see many more of them than scorpions.
I see a lot of scorpions and black widows ... I never pickup anything in the yard without checking.
I also have creek frontage so I see water moccasins (cottonmouths) occasionally.

You have to look out for copperheads and timber rattlers at our house in the mountains.

I bought a bumper off eBay for an 80's car I was driving at the time...

Noticed at a rest stop on the trip home that there was a Black Widow chilling in the bumpers' inside corner.

Spiders are generally cool, so I kept driving - got home, left the bumper outside, spider 'reaccommodated' itself.

Not sure what to do with scorpions...are they generally cool?

No
Usually defensive but they are very aggressive if they perceive a threat.
But then, Scorpions think of everything as a threat if it can't eat it.
They perceive the world in infrared so even a baby is a huge threat.
