It's not a completely bad ideal you just have to keep in mind the type of company you work, the culture of that company, and how frequently you'll see the person you are dating at work. If it works for you I say go for it.

We had a preloader who ended up dating a crap-ass preload supervisor.

When UPS found out, they moved the dude crap-ass preload supervisor to a different building.

It was nice, because the dude was a schmuck.

It sucked, because I made SOOO much money off him for handling packages and loading cars every morning.
