If you are able to watch make sure to watch the unedited version. There is no way that they could show that version in a theater today.
My son's fiance had never seen The Shawshank Redemption. Yeah, I know, it is on TV at least 3 times a day every day, but she had never seen it so, as a joke, I bought her the DVD for her birthday.
