Essential Personnel....

Rack em

Made the Podium
So, the consumer is to blame? How about delivery companies? They act like nothing

is happening. Nothing at all. They pick up and deliver. Shippers ship. We(UPS) ship

rubber dog crap and food and medicine. Do you really believe that somehow an

exact time frame of 2 weeks will fix everything? I believe if so, the govt. would

declare martial law and have the military enforce it.
The delivery companies can't deliver useless crap if people don't order useless crap int he first place.

I personally don't believe the 2 week time frame is enough to kill the virus, but it would be enough to make a big dent in the spread of it. If it works or not is besides the point, the people have been given instruction on how to do their part in the stop of spreading the virus and a lot of people are too selfish too care.

Let's say in a magical world there was a 100% cure of the virus and the cure was staying at home and not leaving for 14 days. If everyone did that then the virus would be completely gone and the world could go back to normal, the only drawback is people couldn't be forced to stay home. People would know that staying home would kill the virus but they would still go out and pretend it's business as usual because people today are selfish *. They would have the attitude that they are more important than the rest and they should be allowed to go out and do whatever. Our society is :censored2: and you can clearly see that by how many people can't do something as simple as staying home. It's really not that hard.

No. The false dichotomy of crashing the economy (and effectively the world's economy) vs doing absolutely nothing to limit the spread is getting a bit old. How hard is it to take common sense measures to limit the spread of this virus? Seriously. Does it suck? Absolutely. Have people lost their livelihoods pretty much over night? Yes. If this continues, me and a few other guys at my center will be laid off. But it won't last forever. We are all in this together. Telework, online school for kids, avoiding large crowds/stadiums, staying away from nursing facilities, staying home as much as possible, all these measures work and hopefully will limit the infection/death rate here at home.
I agree there is nothing wrong with common sense actions to slow the spread.

Lockdowns and quarantines and forcing businesses to shut down are not common sense approaches.

They're full blown idiocy.

Judge me.

As far as im concerned, America was founded on two things. Spreading viruses (when we gave them injans them blankets loaded with smallpox), and creeping on chicks wearing yoga pants.
Whats happening now is completely un-american

....is a term used by the elite. It makes the worker puff out their chest, brag about being Essential, and go to work like good little drones.

If a two week stay at home order will help defeat this virus, I think EVERYONE should stay home. Health care workers, cops, everyone. Shut it all down, no choosing your favorites to stay alive, and leaving your "Essentials" to catch and give that virus to their families.

Essential Personnel = Expendable Personnel.
UPS could be spreading the virus. Doesn't really matter, you won't stop this.

Prove it. I dont see it.

This pandemic is either the most elaborate, well orchestrated ploy by the democrats to remove Trump, collapse the economy and install socialism OR;

It truly is a serious, deadly and highly mobile health threat that hasn't been seen in many years.

I don't know.
You tell me.

Not too deadly if you are not in one of the high risk groups. People still moving around in places like New York. Try to shut that down and the governor of that state fights you, calls it war?

What's your point?

Some people maintain a "if I can't see it, it's not there" philosophy towards infectious diseases.

Don't listen to anyone on this forum. Do your own research.
HINT:
Google "how long can bacteria and virus' live outside the body".

Hope this helps.

Helps zero.

I know how long this can live and how long its dormancy is. That's why I say let let it rip so we can get to herd immunity.
