It depends upon the reason for vacating. If the bid driver has retired, they will wait until that person has used all of the personal, sick and vacation time before posting the bid. They do this just in case the retiree changes his/her mind and comes back. I have yet to see a retiree change his/her mind and come back. Any other reason and the bid must be posted within 10 days.

The reason they don't want to train me is because the sups can't do the route without having late airs miss pieces or missed pickups.........but I am just going to do it blind and let the chips fall where the may
