For Full-Time Employees: Temporary Part-Time Scheduling

There's some truth to that. Just one of the tradeoffs to getting a longer weekend. Some people like it, some people don't. Looks like I'm in the minority here.
I always felt an earlier start time would be way better. It’s an impossibility, but imagine starting at 7 AM. Work til 5 pm with an hour lunch and that’s a sweet nine hour day.

UPS Teamsters may be the only people I've ever met who dislike the idea. Everybody I've known loves it. A 3 day weekend, every week? And let's face it, many drivers are working more than 10 hours a day anyway.

Under the same circumstances, what would prevent drivers with 8 hour guarantees from working 5 13s? I'll take the 3 day weekend. But that's why I think it should be an option. Not mandatory for anyone.
My buddy, who’s a union tree trimmer for an electric company, works 4 10’s and loves it.
