Sorry to all you guys that bought those giant trucks that never haul anything ...might be a little
expensive to fill up to impress coworkers.

That's the first thing the young bucks buy when they go full time. A GMC with the biggest mud grips you can fit on it. Never leaves pavement. When the layoffs come, the tears start flowing.

Solar roofs are still early. House wall batteries are too. Geo thermal is cool. But we know with USPS replacing %90 of fleet with fuel vehicles we are stuck on stupid. (Yo Wally you slip stimulants to sleepy Joe tonight? I never pay attn but his speech was not bad. It was watchable unlike past clowns 🤡 ) *Totally made this up……..

It blows my mind that UPS doesn’t have pumps on property everywhere no matter the size of the hub/center. I’ve been to some pretty small centers and even they have pumps. Why would they pay the price of gas at a gas station? Cut out the middle man.

We have pumps on site and they still give a group of us corporate credit cards to fuel on the way back to the building. They say we have too long of a line at the pumps, wasting too much time.

Only people that have corporate cards at my hub are full time sups. Make sure you’re fueled up on property before you leave and fuel up when you get back. Simple. Too long of a line at the pumps when you get back then leave it for the fueler. Just make sure it was done before you leave.

Our car wash guys just set the lineup in the building. We fuel and wash our own trucks.

The cards are linked to the trucks. Supe asked for truck number and our id number and a card showed up a few days later. When we use them we have to enter the mileage and our id at the pump.

I don’t care, I can wait in line at the building or at the gas station down the street from the building.
