Harry & David shipments ?

Today our station (Express) had a abnormal large amount of Harry & David shipments- They all had holiday greetings such as Merry Christmas or Happy New Year. I was wondering if any other stations had the same deal- I am wondering if someone pressed the wrong button and previous holiday orders were being sent again

Did FedEx announce a holiday surcharge yet? Could you imagine if these surcharges push peak back a few months?

Harry & David just reminding summer customers that the holiday season is upcoming.
Just a business gimmick looking to attract attention.

Christmas in July. 24 weeks til Xmas promo. It's a "thing." Halfway there. Whimsical holiday types who yearn for the season, and crazy cat ladies. Excellent source of revenue generation in an otherwise slow season.

It was weird seeing those messages in the middle of summer. Ditto on the customers as well

I saw one box like that a few weeks ago and was like WTF. I thought someone sent something and didn't proof read their message from a previous shipment. I don't recall seeing any of those boxes before that though. Never even heard of Harry and David before that actually.

I sure beats their marketing strategy of sending frozen oranges and apples to Mn. when its 20 below out. We used to call their stuff croquet balls.

Yeah, guess it's not popular in my area. I've even lived in Oregon before where I guess the company is headquartered. Never heard of it.
