Seriously I hope all you east coast guys will all be safe and sound. I have some family out there so I really hope it changes course.

All that being said, if it’s bad and we were working under the proposed contract; it is possible the company could try to activate the 70hr rule. The union would have to sign off on it, but that is an act of God. The company would be more worried about their boxes getting delivered than you guys cleaning up your homes and neighborhoods.

    Something to think about.

The hurricane is supposed to hit us Thursday night and last time we had a hurricane in SC, we only had like 55 doors but also half the staff.

For the areas in the path of this hurricane, volume will be high for the next 3 days from people ordering supplies.

Why do you think that the Union would have to sign off on it?

If it’s not peak it states that in the proposed contract.

Our center built block houses around the package cars so they are safe to operate in the storm.

They don't need the union's permission now, they can just do it if they want.

The governors of North and South Carolina and Virginia have already declared states of emergency.

It looks like it could be really bad at this point.

That’s not usually a problem in my immediate area because the power lines are buried.

130 mph winds might knock out transmission lines
